THE EAST MOLINE COMMUNITY FUND GRANTS
The East Moline Community Fund Advisory Council recently met to review and approve grant distributions for 2016. The following grants were approved to give to charitable organizations that benefit the citizens of East Moline and the surrounding area:

Assist with Therapy costs for East Moline children
$2,000 | Christ United Methodist Church
Fund perishable staple items for the food pantry clients

Watertown food pantry

Pre-Kindergarten study

One by One at Glenview Middle School
$1,000 | Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy
New Reading Series for Students, K-2
$250 | Quad Cities Marathon
Micro-Marathon Entry Fees for 12 Children
$500 | Quad Cities Senior Olympics
27th Annual Senior Olympics insurance/event costs
$2,500 | Rebuilding Together
Homeowner Assistance for emergency repairs
$2,000 | Rotary Club of East Moline/Silvis
iPads for East Moline School District students
$676 | Supplemental Emergency Assistance Program
Providing for the Emergency Needs of East Moline Residents
$2,000 | YouthHope-Christian Friendliness Food Pantry
Impact At-Risk Kids through Camp Summit

The East Moline Community Fund, East Moline, Illinois, founded in 2011, is an affiliate fund of The Moline Foundation as a community foundation that provides grants to health, human services, education, workforce development, the arts, and other charitable organizations which benefit the citizens of East Moline and the surrounding area, including the Quad Cities region. The East Moline Community Fund receives and administers charitable gifts and works with citizens to achieve their dreams of improving the community.
